Boondhi laddu
This is the queen of all laddus, with a rich sweetness and an occasional crunchy fried cashew nut and a couple of cloves and sometimes a soft, spongy fried raisin embedded in it.
Seven cups cake
As the name suggests, it’s made with seven cups of different ingredients, ranging from channa dal flour, milk, sugar to ghee, the final product is one of the tastiest, melting in the mouth sweets you can imagine.
Kaju kathli
Kaju or cashewnuts, a crunchy, wholesome nut with a special taste of its own, is blended with ghee and sugar, to create this priceless sweet. An all time children’s favourite.
Athirasam
This very traditional sweet, made with rice flour, jaggery and ghee, is a special dish in Tamil weddings. Often part of the gifts given to the groom’s family. A typical Tamil sweet, relished in all parts of Tamilnadu.
